What's In A Title?

The blog title is my take on my favourite quote from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novel, when Bella realises she is in love with vampire Edward. My version is slightly less impressive than that in the book but never the less true:

"About three things I was absolutely positive, first I was an obsessed crafter, second, there was a part of me - and I didn't know how potent that part might be, that thirsted for beautiful craft materials, dies, stamps, papers, cardstock etc, and third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with scrapbooking and cardmaking"

Here are a few more of the pages in my Twilight Album.

More Twilight Pages

Another prompt from the Shimelle Lane on line class is using buttons. This is another Twilight layout with lots and lots of buttons.

Saturday 13 March 2010

This is my second attempt at using up my metal embellishments. The layout is from a Rusty Pickle class kit, again from last weeks Inspired Retreat, It was a very manly layout and was sports themed so it just had to be the Cullens playing baseball.

Shimelle's Something From Almost Nothing Project

Last week I signed up for one of Shimelle Laine's on-line scrapbooking classes. It runs for most of March 2010 and its all about using up lots of the scrapbooking stash that all scrapbookers have. The first prompt this week was to dig out all the metal embellishments and create some metal rich layouts. This was my first attempt. I've used a love heart, some beads and some metal washers that were part of a mini kit from last weeks Inspired Retreat in Chester. I dug out some old metal words, some wire and some acrylic paint and off I went. The ph0to is of my daughter doing some modelling for the photography art students at school.

So...What's It All About?

What is it all about? I read everyone else's blogs and think they are amazing but I've never thought of having a go myself, why would I, I don't have anything to say that anyone else will want to hear so why bother? I want to try and see if I can do it so please bare with me.
